A big grasshopper is trying to jack my car?

A big grasshopper appeared clinging to the door knob of my car when I was about to go shopping!

Hey! are you trying to jack may car?

The width of the door knob is about 4cm (1.6inches), so the size may be larger than 6cm (2.4inches). I haven't seen anything like this big one in a while.

I wondered if it was a king grasshopper (migratory locust), but I found out it may be a different kind of locust, that have scientifically named as Patanga japonica.

As picture of the left, there is a white stripe on its back and black tear-like patterns under its eyes, which are said to be characteristics that distinguish it from the migratory locust.
